Holiday Wishlist

I am always excited once Thanksgiving is over because then its truly shopping season! While shopping for others is most of the fun, I still like to put together a little wishlist and look forward to getting presents. Yes I know this is totally motivated by self-interest and capitalism, but I bet you'd be lying if you said you didn't do this yourself!

Yesterday

As promised, here are photos of the outfit I wore yesterday.

I just scored this 1978 vintage Garfield tee last week in San Francisco's Mission District. It says "No Pain, No Gain." I figured it was perfect to wear on Thanksgiving a.ka. America's biggest food day of the year.

I wanted to stay comfy, so I mixed the top with a pair of leggings and a vintage jean jacket. I threw my faux fur stole on top for warmth and finished everything off with my polka Docs.

A few months ago my boyfriend gave me this turquoise, onyx, and jade ring that belonged to his grandmother. I wear it nearly everyday with my butterfly ring, another gift from my lovely boyfriend.

Warm and Happy

 I love mixing shades and tones of the same colors. Orange and green is also one of my new favorite color combinations. 

 This is one of my favorite cold weather coats. I scored it at the Gap a few years ago for only $10!

Usually I don't put nail polish on my nails, but lately I am obsessed with Illamasqua's color called "Rampage". Since I already wear a lot of green, it mixes well with my wardrobe and is perfect for the season. Find it here!

Tuesday Shoesday

Its the last month of the quarter and all I want to do is party, thus I had to post Jeffrey Campbell's Night Walk. Unfortunately I'm stuck writing my thesis and I have little time for fun. I guess the good part is that it will be done soon and I'll have the rest of the school year to (kind of) kick back. 

Maybe I'll get myself these shoes to celebrate when its all over? A girl can dream!

In Love

Margherita Missoni and OrphanAid have teamed up to launch another affordable Missoni line, that also donates proceeds to help care for AIDS patients in Ghana. The line features the iconic Missoni chevron print and the price point is amazing. (The most expensive piece is the raincoat for $163 USD)

M Missoni for OrphanAid will be launching at M Missoni stores in Milan on November 10th, in New York on November 15th, and finally online at Yoox on November 16th. 

I'm so excited about this line! What do you think?
