Free People x Vintage Chanel

I'll be the first person to admit my love for Free People, but now that they are featuring vintage Chanel jewelry on their website my love has been pushed over the top.

These are just a few of my favorite pieces, but the rest of the collection is simply amazing. While its all pricey, and definitely out of my budget, a girl can still dream!

Holidaze

Hello! I hope this post reaches you in a state of post-Christmas joy, and that everyone had an amazing holiday. 

I finally got the fragrance I had been lusting for, along with Bad Gal Plum Mascara and Illamasqua nail polish in "Rampage". The polish was featured in this post, but I had actually borrowed it from a friend. Glad to have my own bottle now! 

I also received a filter adapter and UV filter for my camera. Here's a shot of my cat checking out my new accessories.

Missoni Mayhem

Who isn't obsessed with Missoni?

Here are some of my favorite looks from their pre-fall 2012 line. The collection is highlighted by chevron prints, furry accents, and chic outerwear. Underneath the layers are a mix of form-fitting dresses accented by chunky high-waisted belts. While this is a bit unusual for Missoni, I think it adds a luxurious and ultra-sexy tone to the whole line. I am loving the play on length and texture, but the collection is brought together by the evening wear. It is not often that Missoni puts out formal attire, and its done just so fabulously. Overall this is an exciting pre-fall collection!

Tuesday Shoesday

I am back  to blogging after a fabulous long weekend, and I feel inspired to do an inspirational shoe post!

Another Style Kitty

Since there was such a great response to yesterday's post, Adrienne, Paulina, and I have decided to head out for another shoot today. I am quite excited! 

Also, I will be away for a couple days. I am having a spa-day with my mom in Calistoga. For now though, I leave you with this lovely photo of another stylish lady with some pretty kitties. Seriously, who doesn't love couture and cats with mini-guitars?

Wuthering Heights

Here are photos from a collaboration shoot I did with my friends Adrienne and Paulina. 

Both of these girls are new to Lookbook.nu, and we decided it was time to all put some outfits together and have a photo shoot. Paulina has an interesting style, characterized mostly by her love of mixing vintage designer pieces with modern edgy accents. Adrienne has a really funky style that is classic and has a preppy twist. She is a master at mixing prints, which always inspires me.

For starters I am rather obsessed with this asymmetrical white dress, which fits me loosely for a chic almost- draped effect. 

I paired it with my favorite faux-fur jacket, and an alligator leather and amethyst cuff lent to me by Paulina. 

Overall I am so pleased with the photos from this shoot, and I had a blast doing this with my girlfriends. Definitely look for more collaborations with these ladies in the future!

The Largest Lawn

I am so happy to be home and not away at school. I am feeling much more inspired than usual. This was an entirely impromptu shoot, it kind of just happened. I think that sometimes those types of shoots are the most fun and successful.
