As I have mentioned in a previous post , I am extremely close to Hannah Hart from the Youtube sensation My Drunk Kitchen. A couple months ago Hannah mentioned she had to attend a couple events and do a photo shoot, and asked if I would be able to style her. Here are some photos of Hannah's shoot with Robin Roemer, who has worked with everyone from the B-52's to Lady Gaga.
When styling Hannah, I wanted to stay true to her own style so that she felt comfortable in what she was wearing. However I also wanted to take her out of her usual plaids and boat shoes, so that she could experiment with different pieces and styles. To do this I stuck with silhouettes that were familiar, not too androgynous, and yet also not too girly. The result? Hannah is pretty much the hottest homo ever--although we already knew that!
On Hannah:
Shirt: J. Crew
Pants: J. Crew
Belt: J. Crew
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell Stinger
Love the shirt! Don't care much for the shoes...
ReplyDeleteI agree on the shoes. They just don't seem to fit.
DeleteMy Drunk STYLISH Kitchen, then? :) It's a nice ensemble, and she looks perfectly at ease in it.
ReplyDeleteI love the expression in the first picture. I'm not feeling the shoes either. They are kinda weird, but Hannah can wear anything and a still look good, even a burlap sack! :)
ReplyDeleteOh man, that shirt is so vibrant!!!! Want it! The creepers are also a fun addition! All awesomely anchored by the black pants!
